McLaren is a kook. Sorry, I know there are other emergent guys who are less, um, wacky, but most of the bad press that emergent-dom gets is because of people taking McLaren seriously.
But does being "wacky" or a "kook" mean we shouldn't listen to him?
In His own way, Jesus was a wacky kook Himself.

i think its depressing to see Christians bash each other in trying to prove they know Christianity better than others. people dont have to agree with him, but they should at least think about his perspective even if they dont think its true. you dont have to agree or disagree 100% with it, and thats what i think a lot of people dont realize.
